Data Consultant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop analyses of data for use in research, targeting, and political strategy 

  • Assist with coordination of daily data operations to support the organizations with a focus on how data can be used to help build a robust volunteer and membership organization & infrastructure; 

  • Anchors data & targeting work that informs strategy and progress of issue campaigns;

  • Provide timely and relevant analysis of data; 

  • Use analytics to improve our messaging, programs and campaign to strengthen impact 

  • Support & train organizing staff and member-leaders on VAN/Votebuilder and other digital and data tools;

  • Assist in day to day operations of the canvass including turf cutting, mapping, data syncing, data entry

  • Design procedures for efficient data management and reporting; 

  • Support other data team projects as necessary

Phone Banker

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve on the front lines of  census outreach, and voter education programs

  • Engage community members on the census by sharing information and collecting completion census pledges; track engagement activities using both qualitative and quantitative methods.

  • Educate voters on state vote-by-mail options and voter rights

  • Participate in trainings and professional development opportunities

  • Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly goals are met and exceeded.

  • Adhere to all data security and privacy protocols.

Digital Organizer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Work with the Field Director and Digital Communications Organizer to implement a comprehensive digital engagement program that includes social media, text messages, emails and new emergent platforms to engage community members and convert digital engagement into in-person engagement. 

  • Grow RVAAF and MAAP’s digital audiences across platforms by posting and following up with and engaging followers daily.

  • Conduct 1:1s with community members to identify issues and recruit volunteers 

  • Report regularly on key performance metrics to demonstrate improved engagement and growth. 

  • Find potential members and activists online and further develop those relationships through phone, video, and in-person communications to be folded into organizing programs. 

  • Data entry of contacts and engagements into database 

  • Support Digital Communications Organizer in developing written content as needed under tight deadlines;
